On an extremely hot day at the BCG, Bashley lost the toss and were asked to field first.
Ted Bracey took an early wicket to reduce Bransgore to 8-1. After this, Bashley kept Bransgores scoring rate at about 4 an over for the majority of the innings. Both Bashley spinners, Tom Manning and Sean Mulley, bowled with great accuracy and deservedly took 2 wickets each. An unbeaten 8th wicket partnership of 48 got Bransgore up to 180 with Greg Jones scoring 47 not out.
In reply, Louis Prichard and Will Tripcony took the score to 30 before Prichard was caught for 11. Another 30 run partnership was broken when Graham Pardey was caught for 9 which left Bashley on 60-2. This brought Josh Parsons to the crease to join Will Tripcony. The pair batted beautifully and took the score to 169 before Tripcony was given out LBW for a classy 72. Ryan Taylor then joined Parsons and the pair saw Bashley over the line for a 7 wicket win with Parsons ending up on a well constructed 58 not out.
Next week Bashley 3s travel to Bramshaw who are also unbeaten.
