Last Friday a full house of 96 players (24 teams) took part in the 20th Club Golf Day, sponsored by Everton Hyundai Garage. With the weather more like June than April the scoring was excellent as the teams played all 27 holes at Barton on Sea. The top three teams all bettered last year’s winning score with Willton Homes “sneaking” home by 1 point, with a score of 137. Second place went to The Catalogue Boys (lead by 2nd team Capt “Rossco”) with 136 points and in third place was Sean Willson’s Everton Hyundai team on 132.
