Former Australia Under-19 left-hander Patrick Page, from the Tea Tree Gully Grade club in Adelaide, will be Bashley Rydal’s overseas player for the upcoming ECB British Gas Southern Premier League campaign.
The 19-year old, who is contracted to South Australia but is yet to make his Sheffield Shield debut, is expected to make his Bashley debut in Saturday’s last pre-season friendly against Surrey Championship side Normandy.
Page, 19, comes from the same Grade club as ex-Ventnor all-rounder Travis Head. Ironically, Bashley’s Neil Thurgood played for Tea Tree Gully while he was on the MCC YCs ground-staff.
