Bashley continued their league performance in fine form with an away fixture at Sway
Winning the toss, Bashley opted to bat first. Opening the batting for Bashley, Piers Scott and Jack Harris batted confidently, with Harris retiring on 51 in 25 deliveries. Saunders took to the crease, and reached his 50 within 24 deliveries, with Piers Scott reaching his 50 in the 12th over.  A catch from Sway’s T. Burton dismissed O. Sparhott-Thompson,  leaving Tom Hayward-Cox ( 13 not out) and Dan Hart ( 14 not out) to see out the Bashley innings, finishing on 215/1
In reply, Sway’s T. Burton also batted strongly to retire at 50 in the 12th over, but with 5 wickets falling in the first 7 overs, the Sway batsmen were under pressure. Bashley’s Dan Hart and Sam Presland took 2 wickets each, with wickets also for T. Saunders and C. Callow. Sway batted on to see out the innings and  finish on 111/6
