Teenage Bashley (Rydal) talent George Pardoe has been picked to play for the South & West in next month’s English Schools’ CA Bunbury Under-15 Festival at Radley College.
The Priestlands School all-rounder is one of four Hampshire youngsters chosen, alongside Miles Kantolinna of South Wilts, who will captain the side, Fletcha Middleton (Fair Oak) and Canford all-rounder Zac Organ.
The South & West will play warm-up matches against Wales, London & East and Somerset before going to the famous regional tournament, which David English has organised for the past 30 years.
Pardoe has played little Bashley cricket this season, having been with the Hampshire Academy and county youth teams most weekends.
