Junior Indoor Training 2018

Indoor coaching courses for girls and boys run by Bashley (Rydal) Junior Cricket will start in January 2018 at Ballard School, New Milton.

All beginners, club members and members of other clubs are welcome.

 

Bashley Indoor ‘Minis’:        5-8 years

Based on the highly successful All Stars Cricket programme, Bashley Minis will provide fun, simple, cricket-based activities aimed at introducing boys and girls aged from 5-8 years to the skills associated with cricket.

Minis will run for 2 x 5 week courses on Saturdays 4.30 – 5.30pm:

Course 1 :   Jan 6^th , 13^th, 20^th , 27^th & Feb 3^rd                              Course cost :   £ 25.00

Course 2:   Feb 24^th , Mar 3^rd , 10^th ,17^th  and  24^th                    Course cost :   £ 25.00

 

 

Bashley Juniors : U9s:  Up to School Y4  ( Age Guide 7-9 years)

Junior cricket training for U9s and older All Stars players. Structured coaching to include activities to develop fielding, bowling, batting and throwing skills.

Sessions are open club members and non-members

 

U9s will run for 2 x 5 week courses on Saturdays 5.30pm- 7pm:

Course 1 :   Jan 6^th , 13^th, 20^th , 27^th & Feb 3^rd                            Course cost :   £ 30.00

Course 2:   Feb 24^th, Mar 3^rd, 10^th, 17^th and 24^th                       Course cost :   £ 30.00

 

 

Bashley Juniors : U11s:   School Years 5 & 6 ( Ages 9-11)

Junior cricket training for U11s. Structured coaching to include activities to develop fielding, bowling, batting and throwing skills.

Sessions are open club members and non-members

 

U11s will run for 2 x 5 week courses on Thursdays from 6.30-8pm:

Course 1 :   Jan 11^th , 18^th, 25^th , Feb 1^st & 8^th                  Course cost :   £ 30.00

Course 2:   Feb 22^nd, Mar 1^st, 8^th, 15^{th &} 22^nd                    Course cost :   £ 30.00

 

Bashley Youth:   U13s upwards   ( School  Years 7 upwards)

Youth Cricket training for boys and girls aged U13s upwards – Structured coaching to include activities to develop fielding, bowling, batting and throwing skills.

(This training is not intended for players in the U16s age group who would regularly train with the senior squad)

Sessions are open club members and non-members

 

Bashley Youth will run for 2 x 5 week courses on Mondays from 6.30-8pm:

Course 1 :   Jan 8^th , 15^th, 22^nd, 29^th & 5^th Feb                     Course cost :   £ 30.00

Course 2:   Feb 19^th, 26^th, Mar 5^th, 12^th & 19^th                     Course cost :   £ 30.00

 

 

All courses will be supervised by ECB qualified and  DBS checked coaches

Bashley Rydal CC is delighted to welcome Steve Wilson as Club Coach in 2018.

Steve is a fully qualified  ECB Level 4 coach, ECB Leadership CPD, and works as Elite Coach mentor for the ECB. His coaching experience includes county youth teams from 10 -17 since 2006, women’s cricket teams and a series of successful senior squads. Formerly Cricket Coach at Millfield School, and currently Head Coach for Bournemouth University’s cricket programme, Steve brings a huge wealth of experience in developing cricket coaching and elite programmes, supporting individual players as they progress to the next level and focussing teams through successful league campaigns

Steve will be co-ordinating  junior training programmes from January 2018, working alongside our  junior managers, coaches and assistants, and we are delighted to welcome him to the club.

Pre-booking of places will be required for all courses

Individual coaching sessions may also be available by direct arrangement with  Steve Wilson, ECB level 4 Coach
