Bashley hosted the U16 quarter final draw against Hythe & Dibden on Friday evening. Bashley opened the batting, reaching the innings  total of  148 for 4 with notable contributions  from J. Harris ( 31 ), T. Hayward Cox ( 30) and Dan Hart ( 36 n.o…. clearly warming up for his century the following day for the Bashley 5ths!)

In reply, Hythe ‘s 1^st wicket fell with the last ball of the 1^st over for T. Saunders, who went on to take 2 further catches for T. Mills and K. Harding. A double-wicket maiden for D. Hart , but Hythe & Dibden saw out the innings, with notable batting performances from W. Ladbury ( 28) and T. Jones ( 38 not out). Final score for Hythe & Dibden 107/ 5
